Neutrogena was originally the name for a PH-balanced soap, a soap that did not irritate the skin and which was discovered by Emanuel Stolaroff in the 1950s during a trip to Europe. Distributed to large stores and pharmacies, it was so successful that the company changed its name to Neutrogena in the 1960s.
Nowadays, Neutrogena is recognised throughout the world for its unique range of skin and hair care products, which are developed in full collaboration with dermatologists.
